oh lovely...

Went to The Books and Clogs at the Cube last night, a clever blend of classical sensibilities, a odd collection of sound sources and lots of (hilarious) humour but more on that a little later.

Meanwhile wonder what's the chances of convincing my wife that a double bill of apocalyptic metal is romantic?
They
look so cool too :-(

hehehehe - and it wouldn’t be pleasant, I bet…

Not unexpectedly, I got a stone wall of disapproval myself…

Almost as much as a bunch of death's-head flowers

I think, out of the two, I'd be tempted to 'do' the Earth/Sun O))) double-bill (cos it'd be daft not to), rather than Jack Rose/Corsano....I'll see what happens.

I'm def. gonna have to check out the Fonal night at the Cube, tho it depends when my wife's working (she works weird weekend shifts)

I'll def. be up for Sunburned too, possibly the second night (can only make one out of the two...)

take some pictures of the Earth/Sunn0))) gig for us if you end up going...or give it a write up

I was going to the Jack Rose until i found out that my 'My Ambulance Is On Fire' were playing so i'll probably be poppin along to that instead... the guy's really excellent and it's his album launch - which hopefully won't be too over produced.

deft checking out Kiila / Es and co. especially when i missed 'Hertta Lussu Assä' last year and saving my pennies for a Sunburned Hand of Man slash out too (only going to one myself)... bloody good year so far
