Way hey - they're coming back

Sunburned Hand of the Man are returning to Bristol this March for two mid-week shows (1st & 2nd) - should be a groovy wyrd folk experience. Here's some pics (taken by me) from when they last visited the Cube (think it was Dec 2004) supporting the equally wonderful JOMF...

... dressed in a plastic horse head he communes with nature...

...doing some inverted vocal play...

not to be missed...they are sure to cook up a heady mixture of everything under the sun...
what's more the merch stall is always choked full of homegrown CD-r fare.

Ah, yeah...apparently, they found the 'tree' in Newcastle and adopted it as a mascot for the tour...I shot a whole roll of film that night and nothing came out apart from a couple of blurred pics of Jackie-O Motherfucker, and a photo of Farmer Glitch sticking his tongue out. Aye, that was a good nite...thanks for the memories!

oh - it was a great show - loved all that live vinyl samplin' that jackie o was doing - bugger about yer pics that's partly why i went digital ( although in some dim lighting conditions everything is just comes out blurred anyway) i'll post the complete set of my photos for you (although my camera seemed to gravitate towards jackie o' girlie drummer alot...)

Just checked out Hush Arbours ( a new name for me) dwlded a few trks - i'm certainly liking what i hear... thanks kek-w ... is he going to be at both shows?

I think he's doing the whole tour, but don't quote me on that....

Keith W does some really nice stuff...he's also one half of Golden Oaks w/ Brad Rose...I may have misheard it, but I think he guested on a recent live WWVV CDR too...
