Best gig of the noughties

Too many are still swimming round my head... but the one that sticks in my mind would have to be the Persistence is All show Coil put on back in 2000 at the Royal Festering Hall... strait jackets, swinging light bulbs and front row epilepsy ... not to mention the blinding rendition of Blood From The Air

THE BEST 12.50 I'VE EVER SPENT!!!

I agree on the Coil part although for me it was Leipzig 2001 Constant Shallowness-tour... Totally mindblowing in the most literal sense. I really felt I would go mad if they didn't stop...

The fact that I'm not completely mad means they stopped...

Eventhough this year has been rather tame the rest of the decade has been quite amazing I must say... Seeing Coil/C93/NWW and Charalambides/GHQ/SBHOTM/NNCK to Philip Jeck, Janek Schaeffer and even Tony Conrad and Keiji Haino I can't say it was really bad...

Long live mp3 for helping me develop my musical taste... Otherwise I would still have my head in electro-industrial and would have been looking back with nostalgia about how good the nineties were... ahum ughe ughe...
